Evangelism

Sharing our faith should be the most natural thing in the world, because it’s really nothing more than telling someone else the story of what Gods has done for you.

Evangelism Workshops”

I love to share on Evangelism and take teams out, because I’m passionate about seeing people come into the kingdom and be healed, body, soul and spirit ! We have all been given the Isaiah 61:1 mandate which says: “The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has chosen me to bring good news to poor people. He has sent me to heal those with a sad heart. He has sent me to tell those who are being held and those in prison that they can go free. “

I love to share what the gospel is and how to share it and talk about some of our fears about sharing the gospel and how to overcome them.

“It’s not my work of telling the Good News that gives me any reason to boast. That is my duty—something I must do. If I don’t tell people the Good News, I am in real trouble.” I Cor. 9:16

God says “those who win the lost are wise like stars shining in the universe.”
Nothing more than telling someone else the story of what God has done for you.

The main reason we are reluctant to share is that we worry about what other people will say or do.

We’re afraid they may be uninterested, say no, think we may be shamed in some way or afraid of offending someone. But it’s not about the other persons reactions or about us; its all about God and what He’s asked us to do with the incredible gift He’s given us and just sharing that. He promises to do the rest.

What can we do to win the lost ? Daily make ourselves available to God and ask Him to lead us to people that need to hear the gospel and be touched by His love.

I found it easier to step out and have the courage to speak with boldness when I thought more about the person before me than myself and my fear. Whether they know it or not people are lost and without hope without Christ and that should motivate us to share the good news !

2 Cor 5:18-20 “God was in Christ reconciled the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Be reconciled to God.”

“Repentance towards God and faith towards Jesus Christ.”Acts 20:19-20

Hanging on the cross He took the punishment for your sins and my sins. Remember the disciples had to wait in Jerusalem before they received the baptism into the Holy Spirit. We must be washed from our sins by the blood of Jesus that qualifies us to receive the power from heaven.

The Holy Spirit is not repelled by our weakness……our weakness attracts Him. “My strength is made perfect in weakness. To those who have no power He increases strength.”
Billy Graham said when asked what he would do differently: “I would preach more on the blood and more on the cross because there’s the power.”

Signs and wonders are awesome but they are there for a sign so people will believe; So people have to choose by an act of faith that Jesus’ blood washed away their sin.

Christ has done all the work necessary…….Rev. 5:9-10 “you were slain and with your blood you purchased men from every tribe and tongue”

Our personal relationship with God is the most important part of our life and it is only natural that we should be talking to others about it. Bill Bright quote :

“There is no nobler thing, no better investment of ones life, than telling others how to know God personally and enjoy Him forever.”Bill Bright

Eph 2:8 says : “God saved you by His special favour when you BELIEVED. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

Start by praying for the lost, the people He died for. That’s asking for the heart of Jesus; Pray for all people and make your requests for Gods mercy upon them and give thanks……for He wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. 1 Tim 2:1,3,4.

Remember your job is to proclaim and it up to the Holy Spirit to convict and convince. In Rom 8:26,27 it says that “the spirit is pleading for us believers in harmony with Gods will.” The holy spirit is way ahead of you and praying to the Father for you and your friend.

How to share the gift of Salvation.

1. God loves you and created you to have a deep and loving relationship with Himself. John 3:16.

2. You will never satisfy Gods perfect standards. Rom 3:23

3. Jesus did something you could never do. He died for your sins. Rom 5:8

4. The only way to God is through Jesus. John 13:6

5. Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. Rev 3:20

6. You need to personally receive Jesus Christ into your life. Rom 10:9

Here’s a Prayer to pray :

“I surrender all to you;
Help me know that You came to set the captives free!
Help me to speak the word of my testimony with courage, that I would boldly share the gospel.
Help me to understand Rev 12:11 : “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” that the beneficiary is the whole world.

“The god of this age has blinded the mind of unbelievers so that they can’t believe.”

You can change the spiritual climate over your sphere of influence by your declarations. Bless those who are cursing you. Adopt 3-10 houses and bless them. Minister to felt needs and tell them you’re going to include them in your prayers. Ask God for a compassion for the lost and to boldly walk in His authority using the gifts He gave you, with those He puts before you; Remain connected to God’s presence and let His anointing hover over you, breaking any unbelief or fear.

Matt 28:18-20 Jesus came and said to them, “All power has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go and make followers of all the nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach them to do all the things I have told you. And I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”
